Please note that from 01/01/2019, you will be required to bring proof of identity when you are collecting a prescription for controlled drugs, as well as signing the register to show that you have collected the prescription. You will only be able to collect a prescription for a relative or friend, if we have explicit consent on record for you to do so. You will also be required to bring proof of identity, prove you have permission to act on their behalf, and sign the register.
Please note that if you are not sure if the prescription is a controlled drug, you can refer to the list below, or you can check the prescription and it should have ‘cd’ written next to the name.
